Electrical Problems

I have a 2004 Colorado 26FB. The ceiling light in the shower/vanity area doesn't operate on the wall switch like the vanity light and the toilet light. It does operate on its own switch, but the lights are dim and flicker a bit. None of the other lights in the bedroom, main room, vanity, or toilet flicker. All of the other lights are full power and bright. Only this ceiling light is dim when it's on and flickers a bit. Is this lamp independently wired different from the main electrical system? Before I dug too deep, I just wanted to ask here if it was something I'm missing.

I think I'd start with pulling down the fixture proper and checking to make sure the connections are clean and tight. Then I'd look at the switch too, might even bypass it just to rule out it being the culprit.
It sounds as if a loose wire or bad ground is causing the problem. Happy hunting, electrical problems are always fun in an RV.

I would bet on a mis-wired ground somewhere. I had issues with my Coleman light wiring. You would pull a fuse for a certain circuit and some of the items on that circuit would still partially power up from another circuit where the ground was back feeding.
