Question Door question on Dutchmen Classic

New member here. I have been reading a lot. Thanks for so much information in one place. I have a 98 360 Classic with a slide out. This trailer has a sliding glass door. Was this factory? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, Texan.

Try here and see if you can find you model, there's a couple of different brochures for Classic models.

I can't say that it was Dutchmen, but I have seen trailers the had sliding doors. But they were marketed as "Destination" models. They were meant for long term setup on a lot or RV park, they were awefully heavy for towing. They were the forerunners of the Park Model.

thanks

Great. The title has 36F on it and the side of the trailer has Classic 360. I found a few pictures with sliding doors. I will be removing mine to repair water damage. I believe I will buy a whole unit from Home Depot that is much more energy efficent.

Hi HoustonTexan,
I just posted a link to a 98 Classic 360 with the sliding glass door but the mod has to approve it (really mod?...)
You will most likely need to buy a custom size door for replacement. Ask for a mobile home size and pay attention to the jamb depth, it will be different than a standard
4 - 9/16" residential jamb.

I saw a older one today leaving a camp ground in Le Grande, OR this AM. I never seen the doors like that. I sure gave it a look over when walking the dog and looked to be original.

It has to do with keeping spam down. After a certain number of posts they won't be moderated anymore. For some reason the number 10 sticks in my mind.

Thanks Aaron for the reply. I have never been moderated so I was not sure.

Everybody needs a bit of moderating, at some point in time.

Fortunately, this place requires very little.

Well, I guess I meant online moderation. The wife tries her hand at it everyday.
