Dealer Pitching Duratain Protective Coatings

We just made an offer on a new trailer and the dealer is trying to talk us into purchasing Duratain (www.duratain.com) protective coating for the exterior, as well as interior textiles, awning, and undercoating. We're not interested in the interior or undercoating but question whether this "coating" is really needed on a new trailer or not. What are your thoughts? We will be storing it outside but with a full RV cover. This is new to us so that's why we need your help. We upgraded from a tent trailer that we kept garaged.
