2012 Dutchmen 318RKDS w/ Dish and Tailgater

Hello,

I own a 2012 Dutchmen 318RKDS and want to hook up Dish satellite TV. I've got a tailgater and vip 211z receiver. I was told my trailer was satellite ready but right now i'm not receiving any signal. I know the equipment works as everything was wired directly to the receiver when I activated it. Outside of my travel trailer i've got 2 cable connections. One on the left rear near my city water and electric hookup and the 2nd is under the large picture window door side. I assumed the later was my satellite connection but am unsure as neither worked.

The setup I tried was running the coax from the tailgater to the outside port on the camper, then from the port behind my living room tv the the receiver (Antenna Booster power - Off), receiver power supply plugged in and then an hdmi cable from the receiver to tv. Does this sound correct? If so, any thoughts?

Does anyone have a cable wiring diagram on this particular line as I did see one over in the Toy Hauler forum for a voltage. I would like to then discuss getting service to the bedroom once i've got signal.

Is your antena amp on or off? It should be off. If not you have bad connections od splitter are not high enough frequency for the sat signal. There is a thread that covers this.
