Wax that nose!

It's a lotta work, but it sure cleans up nice, bugs come sliding right off. I still need to get to a vinyl wrapping place and get a 3ft. gloss black rock guard.

Did it by hand, after washing and debugging it took about an hour. I actually did the top 2 feet from the roof, it's a lot easier that way. That's with help from wifey.

I'm actually shocked how tough the gel coat/clear coat seems, zero swirl marks, I was positive that thing would look like garbage within a year.

That looks awesome! We have a 2015 250KBHS and are completely satisfied with it. Have 14 nights camping this year under our belts, with 4 more trips planned. I have two questions for you:

1. We are getting some chips in the front area of the camper, due to road debris, rocks, etc. What do you use to fill these in, a paint chip or something like that?

2. You have the outside kitchen in the rear like ours. Have you mounted a TV in there as of yet or any plans on doing so? We are just starting to kick the idea around and I was doing some research on it. Looks like 32" is the biggest that will fit comfortably in there. We also want a TV/DVD combination. Would this new TV hook into the power antenna, or how does that work, and once mounted, can you trailer it without taking the TV down everytime and re-mounting it? Worried about vibrations etc, and it needs to come out in winter as we reside in Michigan. Thanks for any help you can provide me, I appreciate it!

1- I haven't done anything yet, I just have a few small chips now. I'm hoping to cover the bottom 3 feet with a heavy car wrap vinyl to help protect it.

2-Yes a 32" will fit nicely. I wanted mine as far to the left as possible so I could put a coffee maker on the counter. If you do that be careful, you can only go so far over before the door will hit it when your closing it. That's with using a pull out mount which I recommend, you need to be able to tilt the tv down especially when sitting on a camping chair.

I travel with mine, but i'd recommend reinforcing the backing behind the wall, it's super flimsy. It's easy to remove the plastic "wood" to get access back there.
I also did a strap system to hold it down.

We use Direct TV, so I just ran a long composite cable from the inside receiver to the outside tv. I also put a dedicated coax connector just above the taillight, it's way easier to keep the satellite and cable connections separate. Not sure how you could hookup the dvd player outside, there has to be a way.

I use Collinite Insulator Wax on mine. Last a lot longer than other car wax. Was made for the electric utilities to protect ceramic insulators hence why it lasts a long time. Still shines things up too.

Been using it for years on pretty much every vehicle I've owned. If you aren't big into waxing, try this stuff. Can get it on Amazon by the bottle.

Thank you for your reply. We are thinking of getting a TV/DVD all in one system. Where did you get the strap kit from, I am definitely interested in that part. Yours looks great!

Looks great, where did you source strap kit from, or who is the manufacturer?

Subject: outdoor TV

What do you recommend for a mounting bracket and TV (size, etc., and any pertinent information) on 2015KBHS? Also, when trailering, does the TV need to be removed or can it stay mounted? Thank you for your assistance.

CYA pure and simple. But given a lot of crap that they pull, denial and blame shifting is about the only form of service they have left.

Haha, I actually called Dutchman and they told me there was no provision made for mounting a TV outside. That's why there's a huge open space below the speakers with an outlet

That's when I went out and removed the paneling, shock and awe, the exact same TV bracing as the inside had.
