Water pressure, help!

On a 5 wk vacay and the water pressure at the kitchen sink is pathetic. Not enough to do dishes, a drip to be exact. Anyone else experience this issue and if so what fixed it? This is the 3rd campground with the same issue, good in the bathroom for shower and sink but not the kitchen sink. I tried ta king the pressure regulator off and the filter but still no good.

Anyone?

Re: Water pressure, help!

Do you have the pull-out spout & hose combo? If so, check underneath the sink for a kink in the hose. Been there done that...

Dave.

Re: Water pressure, help!

Maybe dirt in the spout of the faucet blocking the flow.

Good luck

Re: Water pressure, help!

Does your faucet have a screen or reduction valve on the end of it?
Remove it, see what happens.

Re: Water pressure, help!

Our friend with the plugged faucet spout is from Labrador....
Labrador is the distinct, northerly region of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It comprises the mainland portion of the province, separated from the island of Newfoundland by the Strait of Belle Isle. It is the largest and northernmost geographical region in Atlantic Canada.......
.....and from what I understand both folks either, "Labradorians" and or "Newfies" enjoy a tot of Screech now and again.......
Newfoundland Screech is 40% alcohol rum sold in Newfoundland. Screech has a name that was once just a colloquial term to describe almost any cheap, high alcohol spirit, including Mooshine.
Most of the above was copied from Wikipedia...they are more succinct than me.

You're right coops, or should I say wikipedia is! :-) I certainly had a few cold ones after that discovery, so happy to find that problem. Thanks again ;-)

Hey Coops, in the States this is what we call "Screech":

We call your stuff "Hooch". And I still have part of the still from my grandfather's "shine" operation. I could tell you some stories about that!

Re: Water pressure, help!

Had a similar incident with the bathroom shower in our previous 18RB Dutchmen, it was grains of scale from hard water, no more fill ups at home with well water!

Re: Water pressure, help!

Do you use a filter when filling up at home? I use the in-line type, just for that reason.

Re: Water pressure, help!

We do not use a filter when filling the water tank....our domestic water is provided by the city. We are not on a well. The water is pumped from the North Thompson river and treated through some sophisticated reverse osmosis process for housed hold use. We are about to go on water meters next year.
