Satellite in Kodiak 241RBSL

I am new to the Dutchmen forums and not yet a Dutchmen owner. My wife and I are shopping and really like the floor plan of the Kodiak 241RBSL. But I do have one question that I haven't seen answered anywhere.

I don't see where there is enough space to put a satellite receiver in the TV wall. So, for anyone using satellite TV in their 241RBSL, where do you put the receiver and how do you hook it in.

Thank you for the help.

Hi WingingIt. I can't answer your questions about the satellite receiver, heck we hardley even brought the TV most of the time (until our new Rubicon where it came with the TH and is mounted on the wall).

Anyway what I did want to do is welcome you to the forum! Hope your search for the Kodiak 241RBSL is successful and you become an active member here!

Hi Wingingit. Welcome to the forum. I currently own a 263rlsl Kodiak that I modified to accomadate a satellite receiver. My tv is located on the wall above some built in cabinets. I built a shelf in one of the cabinets to mount the receiver and replaced the panel in the door with smoked plexiglas, this allows the remote to work with the door closed. Also changed the cable "in" connection on the booster plate so I could use the existing cable connection outside the trailer. Not sure of your layout but this works for me. Hope you find the camper you are looking for.

Thank you for the replies. I will report back once I get the trailer and install the receiver.
