Roof unit came on when furnace was on

I replaced my dometic last summer and it works great. Covered the TT for the winter then took off the cover and stayed in the back yard overnightnight. Used gas furnace since it was chilly

When we had had the old dometic he did not turn on when the furnace was on. Just the furnace.

Now the new one fires up the roof unit circulates. Its great. Are they all supposed to do that? It was on furnace.

Maybe i put it on correctly?

Just curious.

It has to do with the thermostat setting, but I don't recall exactly what.

Make sure your thermostat fan setting is on Auto. If it’s set to Hi or Low, AC blower comes on with the furnace.
