Norcold refrigerator too cold

I have Model # N611V refrigerator. I was out camping for 6 days. On the 4th day the refrigerator got down to 29 degrees and froze everything on the top shelf, including the eggs. The freezer went down to -7 degrees.

The Dealer told me that this model is not adjustable. Anyone else has this problem, and what did you do about it?:

Do you have any fault codes?

Many of the RV fridges now are totally automated, that includes self diagnosing. The fault codes are shown as a flashing light.

Your owners manual should have a list of the fault codes.

Dealer is full of it...

There should be a thermister mounted on the plates in the back of the fridge, slide it up for colder, down for warmer. On my Dometic it is white and mounted on the right side.

Frank, do your fins run up and down? All you have to do is just move it up or down on the fin it is on. I use an Accurite wireless thermometer to keep tabs on my fridge in the camper and at home. My kids got them for me for my birthday last year, they are great and make life easy. Before that I used a wired indoor/outdoor and would keep the wired probe in the fridge.

Yes i have the same exact thermometer. it really works well. That is how i realized my ref was too cold. The fins in my ref runs horizontal.. i moved it 3 fins to the right and will monitor it.
Thanks again for the advice.
