king bed

Looking at a new/used aerolite(online) with king bed. What is the actual size of this bed? It looks like the corners are rounded. Does anyone have this bed and are you happy with it? thanks

Our king mattress is 72"x78". We have a queen at home, but we do like the extra space. It's not quite as huge as a house sized king. We also put a 4" memory foam topper on it, made it very comfortable.

I've been researching this as well as I need the extra bed length. According to someone I've talked with at at the manufacturer, the 2014 models were a 72x74 and the 2015 models are 72x80.

From what I've read on this forum, there is some ambiguity as to which models are 2014 and which are 2015, so YMMV.

We have a 2014 Aerolite 315bhss with the king. It is great for sleeping but the size cuts into the room at the foot and sides of the bed. You end up with a big bed and not much else. As mentioned above a topper of some sort is required as the mattress quality is poor.

Need to establish if it is an RV King or regular King, same goes for Queen beds too. The RV King and Queen beds are 6" shorter than a standard residential King or Queen bed. My Coleman came with an RV Queen, too short for me. We solved the issue by putting a piece of upholstery foam at the head of the bed, used a 4" queen topper and standard queen sheets. Now the bed is long enough for me.
