Fiberglass damage

I have a Kodiak 186, with a fiberglass skin. During a wind storm the entry door holding bracket screws pulled out. Of course they were just screwed into the fiberglass with no backing wood behind. I have dealt with that issue. However, there is a "dent" in the door where it hit the kitchen vent exhaust. Anyone have a creative idea to hide the dent since redoing the fiberglass would be expensive?

Nope, trying to hide it would probably just bring more attention to it.

If your door is built like I think it is, I would check with a fiberglass supply company and see if they can supply a new skin.

There are some pretty thin sheets of fiberglass, you may be able to reskin it without peeling the old sheet off. As long as your adding to the exterior and not chaning the hinge spacing it won't have any effect on the door operation.

Thanks for the advice. There is also the vinyl wrap that covers part of the camper side and across the door. I would need to deal with getting and installing a relatively small section of the graphics.

Try a sign and graphic shop for the wrap. It will be much cheaper than going to a dealer.
