Extra TV mount in Kodiak?

Where can I find an extra tv mount that I can attach to the back of a lcd tv so I can use the keyhole mount thats in the bedroom for an extra tv. I also have that type of mount on the outside of mine but I cant seem to find the bracket for the tv anywhere. Its basically a round button looking thing that slides down into the slot on the wall mount. Thanks. BTW camping world doesn't have anything on their website or catalog.

Re: Extra TV mount in Kodiak?

Have you contacted your dealer, to order a mount?

Can you post a picture of the mount you're looking for, please.

Re: Extra TV mount in Kodiak?

I called my dealer and contacted a parts dealer online about the same mount and have not got a response in over a week.If they are gonna put this in a travel trailer they should have the mounts available to hang a tv. I'm pretty sure this is gonna be a special ordered part and very $$$$$$$$$$$.But that's the way the rv business is, sell it and let the owner deal with it.

I haven't experienced that. I have had nothing but excellant service from both Bourbon RV in Bourbon, Mo. and Camping World near Springfield, Mo. and Kissimme, Fl.

Re: Extra TV mount in Kodiak?

Here is what i found out about this mounting bracket.. DUTCHMEN SENT ME A RESPONSE ON SATURDAY, THEY SAY THAT PT# 171285 IS FOR 15”-19” TV’S AND THE PT#188635 IS FOR 26” TV’S. THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME PRICE THOUGH, 113.34 PLUS TAX AND $10.00 IN SHIPPING. It must be a beautiful bracket for that price...

Wow! Must be gold plated and painted black! Is that price for both pieces (TV and wall mounts)?

Re: Extra TV mount in Kodiak?

If it were me, I'd replace the wall mount with a different brand(cheaper too).

I recently installed a few 2-piece TV wall mounts. (click here). This 2 piece wall mount has a "V" shaped wedge. One part slides into the other.
I put one in the camper, one in my shop kitchen and the other under the patio cover. Now, when I'm not using the tv in the camper, I can put it into the kitchen or place it under the patio, just by disconnecting the power and cable cord, then slide it UP to remove it. Slide it DOWN onto one of the the other half of the mount.
Price? $12.99 each.................

Try monoprice.com they have good quality mounts at dirt cheap prices. I have 4 different mounts and very pleased with all of them

I know this is old, but I got one from my dealer. It was less than $100 and they sent both parts, the one for the wall and the one for the TV.

I went through this same exercise in frustration about a year ago. The mounts in the bedroom, outside, etc. are designed so that the main tv can be removed from its normal location and moved around to those other mounts. I supposedly located the appropriate mount half for the back of the tv only then to be told that they are no longer in production! Whatever I get needs to extend and swivel as well plus the tv I am going to use is only 11 in. so I have even been looking into iPad mounts.
