Covering my travel trailer

I have a 2012 kodiak Dutchman 200qb and just purchased a cover for it. In order for me to put the cover on, I'll need to get on the roof. I'm wondering what the weight limit is on my 24' kodiak. Thanks

The wife and I managed ours with a ladder and careful use of a boathook (a broom might be smarter). A bit of a struggle, but negated the need to get on top.

Speaking of covers. There is so much discussion whether or not to cover. I see all the trailers at the rv centers uncovered all winter and ready to sell in the spring. Why don't they cover all their TT's. Probably a goofy question.

Living out there I think I would cover my unit, if nothing else but to stop that green mossy stuff from ruining the outside finish. We are currently considering a move out there to the coast and I'm already planning for a cover. Do you use the chemical to remove moisture inside your unit? Our winters are so bitterly cold here but the air still holds moisture which is nice to get out. I only take out about three cups of water but every little bit helps.

We live in the Mid-Atlantic and have covered our unit. I used three damp-rid buckets inside so far I am happy. I used the Adco Designer cover since I live in a moist area. The cover was actually quite larger than my trailer (and I am at the top range given for the cover) and the white top extends down both sides quite a bit. It is actually a bit of a pain to zip open the side panel to get to the door because of this. The cover does seem to breath really well and does not hold water after it rains. Only time will tell if it helps.
