We get a few "party" weekends here in Ohio at our state parks, mostly the 3 summer holiday weekends, which we avoid. But usually the state park officers nip it in the butt, before anything gets out of control.

The reviews from Sue Thomas on Yukonsights uses many of these campgrounds for their travels thru-out BC. Yukon and Alaska.

We really don't have a time table to get to my sis-n-laws place in North Pole AK. So if we like a place, we'll just stay another night. Then again, if the weather is crappy we'll just travel. No place to go, and all day to get there.

Thanx for the advice about when thinking about stopping for the day, do so before 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Many of our stops we may not even unhook the trailer. If we want to explore the area, we do have 3 bikes.

Things should be a little quiter around Ft St John these days, with the oil patch in a slump right now.

Best way to travel, no time table and just a destination.
