I have the 282DBHS as well. We keep two adult mountain bikes, two kids, bikes, a couple of Razer scooters, a Weber Q grill, EZ Canopy, Camp chairs and folding tables, and a bin of toys in the spot under the bunks.
The bikes do not go in through the rear door. I bring them in the main entrance and once in lower the bunk down just until it touches the bikes. I didn't put any mounting system on the floor because this spot is used for the dogs when we are setup.
Its really nice having the power bunks and all the storage underneath, however, the bunks are a bit narrower than non-power bunks.
