Unhappy Advice - Newbie Question

Hello Everyone,

When i plug my 30 amp electrical cord with my adapter to the house wall socket, the blue light is on on the wall side but the cable that connects to the TT the blue light is not on. I checked the breakers and fuses and they all seem to be ok. My battery indicator on wall panel in TT states my batteries are fully charged. Any suggestion as to why the blue light is not on (on the TT side) ?

Thank you ahead of time .... Gio

the BLUE LIGHT is probably on the power leg that you are NOT using. The 30 amp is 220 and uses 2 power wires, the 20 amp only uses one.

I am not quite sure what you are plugging into. Is it a RV plug or some other 30 amp plug?? RV 30 amp is 120 volt, not 220 volts. I suggest you take a test meter and check the lugs on the receptacle. One leg should be hot and the others not. One of the legs of the three is neutral and the other is a ground. If it is otherwise, unplug it immediately. Also, the hot leg is critical which terminal is hot for an RV plug.

Mine lasted about two years(blue light), if you have power, nothing to worry about. Any equipment you have that says 'Furrion" on it will break sooner rather than later.

My blue light has been black for three years! That's on the extremely heavy 50 amp cable.

Nick is more than likely correct - mine burned out/quit working after the first season and no matter what I plug the anaconda into, only one light on the male end comes on - just fine quality from Furion...

That was funny. My favorite Furrion component is the DVD player that is not a Blu-ray. They probably save $5 going that route. I don’t even think you can buy a non Blu-ray player anymore. So the HD tv they give you is SD when you watch a dvd.

The blue light is burned out, the cord is fine. The other blue light will likely burn out soon also. My first one burned out within about a year and the second one burned out about a year later. Cord still works fine.

A big, big thank you to everyone!

I had a friend of mine check the 30amp cable and that was fine...i was originally concerned as i thought my fridge was not getting power and not working...but that was me being impatient....everything in TT is in working order. As everyone stated it is just my blue light that is no longer functional....all is well.
Thank you all again... it is really nice seeing the teamwork come together to help out your fellow person...
