2017 Aerolite 213rbsl buying advice

Hello! New to the group here and I am currently in the market for an Aerolite 213rbsl. I am curious about how much of a discout I should expect off of msrp. I have heard that it could be from 15-30%. It is just me and my wife now (kids are gone) and we are wanting a smaller camper to take a shorter trips(3-4 days) and find that the 213 seems to be well equipped. I have located a 2017 model about 400 miles away. Closest Aerolite dealer is about 150 miles and they do not carry the 213. Any advice or tips making a purchase would be greatly appreciated!

There's a sizable cult following to the Mighty little 213 here.
So you are sure to get some advice.

I LIVE in a 213. I have it so modified into living quarters that I don't RV with it. In fact, I'm currently on a cross country trip pulling an even smaller RV.

Anyways, I think most folks shopped harder than I did and paid less than me. But I still got out for about 25% off msrp. (if my dealers msrp is to be believed)
If it's a 2017, I'd suspect 30% or more is possible.

Regardless, you'll be getting the coolest little package out there, imho. How about that awesome shower and linen closet?!!!

As you can see, I have mine seriously "parked".
And I'd be frightened to weigh it.

I live in the woods down in coastal Texas area.
Put in a dedicated septic thinking I'd build a small tinyhouse back here on the property. That was April a year ago.
Never dreamed I'd be so pleased with the 213.

Hope you find one and enjoy it as much as many of us do.

Thanks for the insight snakebitten. That is a very nice set up you have there. I have located a new 2017 for 20K but I will have to drive about 350 miles to get it. I think we are going to pull the trigger this weekend.

That, in my opinion, is a bargain!
Especially since it's in the middle of RV season. Congrats & good luck.

Good luck, you need to give it a thorough inspection, that's a long drive back if something isn't right.

inspect everything, don't leave with anything unfixed! 20K seems like a steal to me.

Sounds like an awesome deal, but you better spend a lot of time going over/inspecting it. Especially since the dealer is so far away. Best of luck, its an awesome little travel trailer!

Not to jinx ya, but the good news is that over the near 1 1/2 years I've spent reading nearly every post on this forum, the little 213 hasn't had much documented angst.

Perhaps I'm just an optimist, but the majority of 213 threads are by happy campers. I'm betting you'll be another!

Thanks for all the comments! We drove down and made the deal last weekend. Spent all day Saturday going over and testing, checking, etc, Very pleased so far and purchasing from a Dealer that still believes in good old fashioned customer service was refreshing. They went above and beyond on all my requests about inspecting the unit. Service tech stuck with me all day and and was very helpful. '

Thanks again folks!

Where did you get it from? There's not many great dealers in the whole country, i'm sure folks will want to know.

I purchased it at Campers & More in Biloxi, MS. They have another location in Mobile, Al. Here is their website http://www.campersandmore.com/ The folks at the Biloxi location were great. They made it worth the while to drive from TN

FYI

They have another 213rbsl in Mobile for 20K also. Hard to beat that price.
