2014 Kodiak 291 RESL problems
I purchased a 2014 Kodiak 291 RESL last July and two days later took it on a week and a half trip first stop in Kansas noticed that water was leaking out of the bottom of it near the holding tank dumps. Did a little investigating found a loose connection on the shower faucet. Tightened it up no big deal. Then traveled to Iowa and from the time I set it up the A/C unit didn't seem to be able to keep the trailer cool and it was not that hot out side, in like the mid 80's and water was again leaking out of the bottom of the trailer every time someone took a shower. I called dealer they were not a lot of help until I threw a fit. They promised to fix it when I got home to it to them they had it a week and said it was fixed. Took it out a few time in the winter and spring trailer did great in the winter and ok in the spring but the A/C unit still struggled to keep up.
Took it out the last weekend for the 4th of July and it could only maintain a 5 degree offset from outdoor temp. It is back at the dealer, but I have little confidence they will fix it or if can be fixed.
Does anyone know if there is a fix or is anyone running a second unit on this model if so does that help? I love the floor plan but if it cant keep me cool then I might as well stay in a tent.
