Turkey Swamp Campground in Freehold, NJ

Website :
Monmouth County Park System Facilities Family Campground

If you're just passing through southern NJ or staying a bit, this Monmouth County camp ground is one of the best RV parks in the garden state. Just south of Freehold and heavily wooded sites, nearby lake and trails etc.

Just a few notes though...
Drinking is discouraged (a good thing imo). They wont bust you though. Just don't be a nuisance.
Rangers enforce the 11pm quiet time and expect your fire to be out or nearly so.
Bring at least 75 feet of water hose to reach the shared connections.
C and D sites are good but avoid sites E1-E5 which get flooded when it rains.
There is actually no swamp but probably some wild turkeys there

Maybe E1-E5 are the swamp they are referring to?
