Very cool! I'm originally from a little north of where you went camping, Vinton County Ohio.

Neat! I know they have the Hope furnaces there. We will probably do Lake Alma and Lake Hope State Parks this fall. Will also do some AEP lands boondocking, but not sure if those are located in Vinton County - I know some are close by.

I work a couple of counties over from Vinton County in Washington County.

We do Lawrence County because DD and family (pictured making smores) live there.

I grew up in Maryland, where you are now. Life is funny.

Re: Oak Hill Campground/Lake Vesuvius

That is wild we started and ended opposite same states, lol. Yeah we used to go swimming at Lake Alma and Lake Hope when we were little. Maybe you can check out the Old Moonville train Tunnel when you go to Lake Hope, its not to far from there, supposed to be haunted, I went a few years ago, but in the winter months. Tar Hollow is a cool campground as well if you get the chamnce, we stayed there a couple times in my sisters 5th wheel, I really like it there, pretty close to Mom and Dads house too.

Re: Oak Hill Campground/Lake Vesuvius

What first caught my attention is when you said Wayne National Forest, I knew you were at somewhere close to my old home, lol.

Re: Oak Hill Campground/Lake Vesuvius

AEP land is pretty close I think, but not sure if in VC, may be a little north of us maybe. I def know of Washington County, your right, life is funny.
