We got our 5er back from the warranty repair two days before x-mas.
We did our x-mas with the kids and grandkids, that are still in Maine, on x-mas eve.
We had the 5er hooked up to our tow unit and hit the road x-mas morning at 4:30AM.
Hit light snow in Massachusetts. News talked about Freezing rain on Wednesday morning in Maryland. So, we had to make sure we were on the other side. We got to the lower part of Virginia x-mas night to avoid that weather. We laid over (boondocking) at 9:00PM at a Walmart.
Wednesday morning we ventured again at 5:00AM. Within a half hour we were in North Caroliner. Started getting rain mid way thru N. Caroliner the winds were picking up and extreme rain all thru the Caroliners. Got into Georgia and ran into three different after maths of accidents. Three lanes of traffic jamms each time.
We finally made our destination in Homossassa, FL by 5:30 PM Wednesday.
At this point we're in 65 degree weather in Florida. There's a blizzard and 12" of snow expected in Maine. My wife and I are not into winter sports, obviously.
