Went down to Burlington Washington from Langley B.C. for a couple of days and stayed at the local KOA. Nice place. Went to Camping World and did some shopping. Entered a draw for $500.00 gift certificate. After we came back home we got a few calls from Beachwood Resort telling us we got a free membership to the resort in Blaine WA. High pressure sales pitch. Wondering how Beachwood got our phone number. Does Camping World give the draw box from their counter to this resort. If they do we are not happy about it. Might have to tell Camping World that our info should not be given out to other parties. Just my rant for the day.

Thank you Wrangler for the heads up about Camping World. My DW likes to enter draws (and is very lucky at it) but we dislike these sales tactics.

That's the fine print. There are hundreds of these things out there, you enter for this or that then find that you personal info is handed out to whoever is sponsoring the contest, or is paying for it.

Most of them have the same privacy policy as facebook, there ain't one.

Your right on that. Told Beachwood Resort thanks but not interested. The RV show starts next week at Abbotsford Tradex. Won't be entering any draws.
