We are here...

After 5 years of owning a 2009 Dutchmen Denali 326QB-M we decided to trade it in on a new 2014 Voltage 3950 which we will be picking up on Saturday 11/22/14. All the years owning the Denali, I never new this forum was here. I found it when doing research on the Voltage.
So far the toyhauler section has educated me alot.
We are only part timers but we hook up every chance we get.
First trip we are planning with the Voltage will be to upstate NY for Christmas at MIL house. I haven't driven in snow since 1972 when I joined the navy and never towed in snow but do have over 7500 miles towing the Denali. Sounds like fun .
Great site, love the modification section but wife already said I can't mod anything time we sleep in it!

Well after a 2 week delay (due to my work sending me out of town ,) it looks like we are finally set to pick up our Voltage 3950 this Saturday. I have stopped by the dealership several times this week doing mini-PDIs. I am really impressed with the tech they have assigned to my purchase, he told me that the general manager of the Panama City, FL. CW told him that "we have to make sure we get this unit right for these folks". I thought I had found everything on my look overs but he really has been spending 3 straight days going over it with a fine tooth comb. He has even fixed small blemises in the paint I didn't see. It was up on blocks when I drove past today, they are putting on the Goodyear G rated tires (part of the deal).
We are so ready to spend our first night in it, but somewhat sad to say goodby to our Denali bunk house at the same time.

Nana & Poopy, I think I finally won the battle over taking the new camper up-state after Christmas when I reminded Rose that she would not be able to flush her new toilets because the water hose would be frozen, so it looks like we will just be in the truck this time... wait till summer when that excuse won't cut it.....

May be a big depreciation...but I'll bet you enjoy every dollar of it. We've had a few issues with our 2014 Epic 3800....but we've enjoyed it more than any other RV we've owned...and enjoy it much more than past trips staying in motels or resorts.
