Waiting for Our New V3605

Greetings from the Left Coast (but not for much longer). I retired in December and my wife is pulling the plug this June. We've ordered a V3605 and will pick it up sometime mid-June in Indiana if all goes according to plan.

Our grand plan (valid until first enemy contact) is to load the Road King in the back, squat for who knows how long wherever and ride every little back road in America. We're looking forward to learning as much as we can between now and when we pick Valerie (yep, she's already named the TH) up.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great plan. Our plan to full time barely lasted to first contact. Oh well flexability is the key to "Airpower". We are loving it. Hope you have a great time!!

We're HOG (Harley Owners Group) members, so we'll visit local HOG chapters to learn about interesting roads. I do software training for university/college police departments also, and we'll try to work that into our flexible non-schedule.

Funny thing is, two weeks ago we had no idea where we would head first. Now that we have a starting point, things are popping up to steer us one direction or another.

The important thing for us is to relax and have fun.

Congrats on the 3605. Read the posts here about what we all have had to do on our Voltages. There's a few things to be done but worth it it. We love our Voltage.

Good to hear folks are enjoying theirs. We think we did our due diligence, but I guess time will tell. Should get a delivery date in the next few weeks.

Carey has five more Mondays and then we're free to take off. Well, if I get all the things done around the house, we're free.

Update: Tomorrow's the Day!

We're both now officially retired, have made our way across a good part of the country, and are in Middlebury, Indiana to pick up our V3605. Tomorrow's the day Max (the truck) meets Valerie (the V3605). Carey has her clipboard and bright sticky notes ready for our PDI. We have a week booked at the local KOA. Factory tour scheduled for Thursday. Exciting time!
