Soon to be Denali Owner

My name is Wayne and we currently own an Outback 25RSS. We are in the process of selling the Outback and are looking at a Dutchmen Denali 287RE. I look forward to participating in the forum and learning from everyone. Maybe someday down the road I will have information to share.

Welcome DamMan! Have you enjoyed your Outback? We seriously considered one before getting our Kodiak. They look like they are well made.

Welcome Wayne & family!

We looked at Outbacks back in 2004 but went with the KZ Frontier instead. Just a little trailer history for you camper trivia buffs... KZ stands for Kaufmann & Zook, the 2 founders. Zook split and went to Outback. That's why you see a lot of Outbacks and Frontiers (now Sprees) with similar floorplans. KZ put a patent on the Frontier rear slide so Outback could not use it. Not sure why KZ did not use that rear slide mechanism on the Sprees, but it was sweet! One of the reasons why we went the Frontier 8 years ago.

Yes, we love the Outback. We are only upgrading because our oldest is 22 so we have one less to traveler and decided it was time for a new floor plan.

Good luck with the the Trailer. My kid's are 19 & 24 and have just started camping with us. Never seen them so much. It would be nice if they put some beer in the fridge though...
