New to me 2014 V3818

We just purchased our first fifth wheel ever. Found this one used at the price point I was looking at. Didn't want new for our first one, good thing to bc I scratched this one before I even made it to the house. Yayy for low hanging branches.

Welcome to the forum, Captain.

Nice looking rig. Now you have the first one out of the way, you don't need to stress about that first scratch.

It's not only low hanging branches that you have to worry about, sometimes it's the whole tree that jumps out and bites you. Then you have low hanging eves, stantions, underpasses, etc. Not that I would know anything about that stuff.

Well, not the stantions and underpasses, trees and low hanging eves could be a different story.

There's only 2 kinds of damage you can do, you got the inexpensive ones, then you have the expensive ones. I've been fortunate, all mine have been on the inexpensive kind, no of them even got the the deductible.

First scratch hurts the most. Have to get it fixed regardless. Can't stand to see my errors every day. Aaron, beat me to the punch on the truck!

A good used Voltage in full body paint. Congratulations! Nice rig you have there, and by the way, my Ram is a good TV as well.

welcome to the forum Cptn!

Anyone else notice how when we hijack a tread, it doesn't matter if we are talking about toilet paper or what mods we did, when it gets hijacked it is always in the direction of one or two things: our trucks or or tires (we won't even count Dutchmen quality). But since it is already hijacked, I find it interesting how owners speak of thier trucks......

I guess that should put an end to the great truck debate....

We now return Capt back to the welcoming committee....

Thom..... Driver of a real truck!

It don't matter if you drive the:

Cheapest Heap Ever Visioned Yet

or a

Funky Old Rebuilt Dodge

or a

Really awfully mangled

truck.

There's only one thing you need know, will it tow the camper.

Haha thanks for the warm welcome everybody. This is actually my first powerstroke. I've been a cummins fan for the longest. I got this thing fixed for longevity if you know what I mean.
So on top of the scratch I put in it, I was outside to see a big tree crack and lodge itself in my rear ac unit.
We're about haul it 12 hours away to disney. This will be my only trip on these tires. Hope they make it.
Thanks again everyone. Glad to be here.

Check pressure on the tires and do a visual at each fuel stop. You'll more than likely be fine. I got just over 18,000 on mine without rotation no issues other than they wore out sooner than I had hoped
