New (old) owner

Just purchased a 1999 Dutchman LE 26B2l camper. The first thing I did was install a new rubber roof. Used a 100% silicone product over the existing roof. The company guarantees the product for 50 years! I am new to rv ownership but have experience with park models. I figured to start with the roof first as I don't want to go up there often and essentially put a new rubber roof on, installed Fantastic Ultra breeze vent covers, serviced the a/c unit, and generally weatherproofed the top of camper. Now I want to service the black, brown, and fresh water tanks and heater /hot water heater units and could use any tips on those items. I plan of flushing out the tank systems while stationary using house water pressure and portable air tank.Tips on cleaning system. I do have chemical treatment fluid for brown/ black tanks. The heater systems I'm not sure how to service but would like to work on and make sure operational. Also, any tips to reinstall 20 y/o window seals and other door panels on side of camper. Basically weatherproofing camper from the elements. Any help would be beneficial. thanks in advance, Bob S.

1st of all Welcome to the group! I am sure others will have the answers you need - I am worthless with tools other than a soldering iron and volt ohm meter...

Congratulations on your purchase, welcome to the forum. there is a thread here called "broken windows" that gives the locations of several sites that sell windows and window parts and also some have videos. Good luck with your restoration. I'm sure it will be a labor of love.
