I am new to the Dutchman family and have a Komfort 3530. My initial impressions is is that of a high quality trailer with piss poor attention to detail. Minor stuff but things that should not be for a rig of this price. The small things are visible divets in the walls where there are staples. Inadequate screws holding the blinds onto the walls. The bottom of the kitchen counter is unfinished so that when you look up as you climb the steps you can see the construction. Lots of saw dust in the corners and in hard to reach places. So with that said I love the trailer. Once we work past some of these details I feel confident that we have a well built comfortable camper.

Re: New Member (Komfort)

I also bought a 3650 FFL in Feb this year and I agree with you with the interior finish details. When you look at other units you will see similiar issues. One item to check is the scare lights. The light on the stb side of my unit was burned out when I took delivery. I had Camping World change the bulb. I went on a week trip last week and it rained very hard the first day and I noticed a leak on the stb side interior front cabinet over the DVD recorder. After the rain let up I noticed the scare light was full of water and the drip spout was draining over this area. Further investigation revealed that the light was not sealed over the top portion and water was getting behind the assembly and leaking into the unit through the wire access. I sealed this area and also the light on the port side as well as it had the same area not sealed. So far no leaks. The next issue is none of the coax connections are identified as what goes to what and where. The water connections should have been labled as washer hookup on the right. The next issue is the grey water and black water valves are not identified as to which is which and what they drain. Other than those issues I like the unit very well

Re: New Member (Komfort)

I have already gone around the unit and fixed up a few places where the silicone had loosened up a little. Ill have to go and take a look at the scare light next. I guess we just expected a bit more attention to detail for a rig that cost this much.
