Hello!
My name is Scott. Hoosier Momma (DW) and I are not new to camping or forums. We have 4 DD's all grown and gone, 3 SIL's, 5 Grand-kids ranging 10-1 years old who we enjoy taking camping as well.
What brings me here? In one week we are upgrading to a '11 Dutchmen Classic 265BHS we found Thursday and I am in search of info on this specific brand.
We started out in a P'up '00 Coleman Sea Pine, moved up to an '05 Coachmen 248TBS Spirit of America, that is now going to our friends daughter to get her into a TT.
Home base camp is Bixler Lake in Kendallville, IN... we enjoy Chain-O-Lakes and Pokagon SP's as well.

I have been in Maintenance / Repair of some sorts all of my working life, so I sure hope I can contribute to other members issues as well.
Looking forward to pulling up a camp chair, loading a pie-iron, and joining in.

Welcome Aboard! I grew up in Fort Wayne and spent many a nights at Chain-O-Lakes and Pokagon SP's camping with family or Scouts. Loved camping in the winter with the Scouts and going to the Toboggan slide. What memories!

Thanks for the welcome all!

Matt, They still run the Toboggans in the winter there.
Getting excited on the new-2-me Dutchmen. Should be able to bring it home Thursday which is only a few days away.
We got one step closer yesterday when we sold our Coachmen already. Here I was worried about having two Campers in the driveway.

This past winter when I was home we actually drove up to go Tobogganning but it sure has changed... The lines were so very long and there was a waiting list. We used to be able to get about 5-6 trips down the slide in an hour when I was much younger.

aguablanco: don't forget the Fighting Irish!!
