Hi Everyone,

Recently purchased a Kodiak 167qbsl, quite a step-up from sleeping in a Coleman tent – wife wanted something more comfortable for extended retirement vacations.
Thinking about driving to Alaska next spring, anyone have experience driving the Alcan Highway?

Re: New Member

Never been on the Alcan Highway, or to Alaska for that matter. But Welcome to the forum! Hopefully someone here can help you out.

Dave.

Drove from Mile Zero from Dawson Creek BC to Ft Nelson BC many times...drove south from Whitehorse Yukon to Jakes Corner Yukon..all on the Alaska Highway.
Have driven part of the Stewart/Cassiar Highway from Dease Lake south to junction of Highway 16 at Kitwanga. Have driven all over Northern BC
Never driven north of Whitehorse Yukon...but understand its a great trip to Alaska.
Heard that the road is good, bugs may be bad, fuel is expensive, people are great and the scenerary is spectacular

Welcome to the forum ....enjoy.
