New Kids on the Block

Hi, we are Russ & Jan (a.k.a. The Eagle and The Owl) and we just bought our first RV, a 2006 Grand Junction M-34TRG and will be picking it up on Saturday. We look forward to being a part of the group. Any tips, tricks, hints, etc will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!

A lot of different types of RV's on here so you should fit right in. If this is your first rodeo, just ask questions; some of us have been RV'ing for 35 years... and are still learning Biggest thing I would do is make sure EVERYTHING works BEFORE you leave the lot. New or used.

Since it is a 2006, Before you take it off of the lot, see if the dealer will fix everything that you find, not working during your walk thru, since it may have been on the lot for a while, the main thing, check the tires, because Trailer Tires don't last to long in the sun….I don't know if they will give you some type of a warranty, so thats why you have to check everything before taking it off the lot….Good Luck, and happy camping

Welcome Eagle&Owl,

Redtail Cruiser here (birds of a feather and all), Congrats on your purchase. I agree with RV Nevada, make sure everything works so there are no surprises when you get it home. Enjoy your new rig!

Safe travels,
