New Coleman Lantern 244BH Owner

Hey all - just got a 2019 Coleman 244BH after shopping for 2+ years and reading a lot of these forum posts. Picked it up from Camping World Saturday Morning and drove it to the beach that night!

Congratulations! It looks great and similar to our Aspen Trail. Nice beach pix too, thanks for sharing.

Congrats. I have had my Coleman for 3 years and did a lot of mods to "make it my own" and really had no problems with it. Enjoy the unit and Happy Camping

Thanks for sharing. I do like the metal siding. One of the reason we got our Aspen Trail. Enjoy your rig and safe travels.

I'm with you on that! I prefer the metal and the non-metal just feels unfinished to me.

Do you mind if I ask you which beach this is? I see you are from San Antonio, so I'm assuming in TX. We are going through there next summer and I'm looking for good beach spots. Also need a couple between New Orleans & Orlando.
Thanks

Do you want to go to the beach or be by the water in Florida? By the way, San Antonio is a long way from California.

Thats like my 274BH but with a slide. I have had mine for going on 4 years now and has not been the money pit I assumed one would be. Really like it, though starting to outgrow it a bit and will probably replace it with something like the 263BH.

I really like how well the Coleman tows, though it could be a little higher off the ground! I found a couple times where the dump valve was too low in order for the hose to fully drain. That's about the only thing I can complain about. Enjoy yours, they are some nice trailers for the money.

The beach, I’ve never seen alligator there!

We are looking at Topsail-Hill state beach

It's Padre National Seashore, really cheap to camp there and definitely recommend it - 60 miles of beach you can drive down and find the spot you want.

If you are coming to florida, watch out for alligators, even at some of the beaches!
