I bought a 2002 dutchmen lite 27BH from a friend with "one board" that needed replaced. Well 6 months later I'm just finishing up a full gut and remodel of this thing. Had to reframe the entire front half of the camper along with putting new floor boards under it. Needless to say I lost a friend and have spent a lot of time and money on my first rv. But the end product will be worth it. So i went from no knowledge of campers to being pretty savvy with their inner workings (literally) thank you YouTube lol.
Welcome to the site. No real friend would ever sell a leaky camper to anyone they knew. It stinks that you had to do all that work, but now you know the importance of roof maintenance(i'm assuming it had roof leaks).

Yea the entire roof needed replaced. I replaced the decking ( which was osb not plywood) and new epdm roofing. It had been sideswiped and I'm assuming and had a limb fall on the awning and bend it and the gutter. Should have been totalled out but that is what happens I guess lol.
