Hello from Mississippi

I just purchased a 1996 Dutchmen Duck C Class. The roof was being repaired when the tarp sprung a leak & ruined the interior. I got a heck of a deal @ $1500. It has new tires with less than 50 miles on them. Rig has 30k miles & only 99 hours on the Genset. Any suggestions for redesigning the interior?

Still need to finish the roof work. Seller gave me the wood & rubber kit to finish the job. I think it will be a great rig when I finish it.

If you can do the work, you'll have a steal! Best of luck.

I can do the work. I'm used to working with normal stick & brick but this looks the same just lighter materials. We went to look at new class c's today & similar in length trailers. needless to say we weren't impressed. Cheap materials & the price.

Wow, you found yourself a nice blank canvas to play with.

Try this site for some ideas, on renos and mods. RV Mods, RV Modifications, RV Upgrades, RV Tips, RV eBooks | ModMyRV.com

I was trying to find a blog that had some very creative ideas to maximize storage and the floor plan. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it and I can't find it now. I'll keep you in mind and if I find it again I'll send you the link.

Someplace where you can find some incredibly unique ideas is the european And British manufacturers. The North American manufacturers could learn a thing or two from them.

Have fun with your mods on the camper.

Actually, she's an American Staffordshire Terrier. This little lady is my second that I adopted from the SPCA. She had been in the shelter over 120 days, just because she was 9 1/2 years old. She's now 12 but not slowing down, have you ever seen a dog that's a comedian. That would be her, she's love's to get the youngest dog playing tag, then run under the patio table and grin.

My first was another little lady the was rescued from a puppy mill. She was 2 1/2 when she adopted me, I feel she saved my life. I was over 50# overweight, my blood pressure and cholesterol were trough the roof. She had been adopted 3 times and 3 times returned. When I first saw her there was something in the eyes that said I should take her home. I did, she made me get off my fat butt and to play with her. I lost the 50# and then some and got my BP and cholesterol were back where they belonged.

Like the saying goes, "who rescued who?". Know the feeling. Can't stand being gone from our lab.

I had 6 rescues at one time. All but 1 have been relocated. I have only ever purchased 1 dog in my life & only because she is the sister to my current rescue. He is the brindle & she is the white. He is 9 she is 7.
