Shower Door

No. What were they thinking? Using a slider door is obvious. Must have a large inventory. At 6' 230lbs it is a comedy getting out of that shower. But we love the trailer.

Thank You

I would not have thought that. Will look into it today.

We like how bright it is inside. The outdoor kitchen is priceless. First time cooking on the outdoor burner I used a pan that covered the knobs and melted them off. Doh!

Thank You.

I've added several shelves in cabinets an turned the legs on the table so we could slide into the table. But there's always stuff you'll do to make it your "Home"...

Also have a 213RBSL, our shower door hits the toilet and leaves a black spot on it.
But there is plenty of room to get out.

Hey Dawniewest, Hope all is well. We turned our door around so it now swings from left to right. It works well for us. ( Hinged on the right side)

Shower Door

I will know more when I look at the door but would you say that was a relatively easy job?

I contacted DM/Keystone about my swing out shower door, they claim they've neveer heard of the problem. They didn't know the floor plan and had no access to floor plans on their own website, even though I gave them the URL. This is gonna be fun getting this straightened out.

I'm not seeing how turning the door around would help, I'm thinking they may have changed the toilet location, or rotated it? It's not a huge deal, I just need to find a piece of rubber or something to stick on the front of the toilet to protect it. There's lots of room to get in and out once you get past the toilet.

Dawnie,

Switching the swing would probably make getting into the shower a bit easier. Fifty pounds ago, I never would have made it in to that shower the way the door swings.

If your shower door uses the same frame extrusion as ours, a piece of door edge guard would do the trick. A little rubbing alcohol to clean the offending rib and stick the door edge guard on the rib.

Then you would have to enter the shower from the kitchen, which i'm fine with, but the neighbors might not want to see me nekkid through the windows.

You actually have 24" to get in, you'd have to be a giant not to fit through there.

.

The neighbors don't want to see me nekkid, they don't need to look. I wouldn't want to see me nekkid either. It ain't a pretty site.

Might have made it, but 50 pounds ago, I was two axe handles wide! There was a lot of stuff I couldn't have done then.

Our camper shower door opened the opposite way. I reversed it to open like yours is now. so you had to enter from the kitchen with the door to bathroom open. LOL LOL that was how it came from the factory!!!!!!! I also put a stick on bumper (clear in color) about 1"x 1"
on the toilet , so when the door from the bathroom opens it hits the bumper instead of the porcelain toilet..

Warranty on Shower Door

Dutchman turned down my request for a slider shower door. Disappointed. Appreciate the photos.
