We are contemplating on purchasing a 2014 Denali 297RLX fifth wheel but after selling our 2013 Dutchman Coleman travel trailer after so many problems, we are a little concerned as to whether we will experience the same. If anyone could possibly share some of their experiences and suggestions, it sure would be appreciated.

All I can recommend is to do a thorough walk through PRIOR to signing on the dotted line. Every manufacturer builds a piece of junk sooner or later. Some of them just seem to build more.

We are currently doing some shopping, Thor products are low on the look at list.

I currently have a Coleman 16' and it has been okay. It has had a few issues but nothing major at this point.

Hey, neighbour.

Like Aaron said, Dutchmen are not known for quality in their construction methods. I was told by a salesman that they have lots of glitz and glamor showing, but not great on quality. I just figured he was trying to up sell us. Wish I would have listened.

If you can find yourself a Lance that fits with what you want in way of a floor plan and features, it would be one for the short list.

One of the biggest considerations is after sales support, Dutchmen is not that helpful. Lance on the other hand is reported as one of the best.

If you do decide on the Denali, you will find lots of help here.
